Who We Are
Michelle Bedenbaugh, PhD
Principal Investigator
Michelle earned her Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree from Texas A&M University. She went on to complete her Doctorate in Cellular and Integrative Physiology at West Virginia University and recently finished a postdoctoral fellowship at Vanderbilt University under Dr. Richard Simerly. She loves studying brain development and neural circuits that drive motivated behaviors.

Beyond the lab, Michelle enjoys staying active with her two dogs, Sophie and Audie, cheering for the Gators, and visiting as many local coffee shops as she can.
